This year marks the 5th anniversary of Redland GrowFest! at the Redland Fruit and Spice Park in Redland, Florida. Powered by Bee Heaven Farm and Redland Organics, the two-day festival brings the community together, while promoting and educating the public about growing local, healthy produce through workshops, presentations and demos.
Not only will attendees witness competitive cook-off challenges among local chefs and students, it will also feature live music, park tours, kid-friendly activities and door prizes! To encourage creativity, the cook-off will require participants to use seasonal items grown in South Florida.
With a bee-centric theme this year, the event commemorates local pollinators, with some of its profits going towards supporting the Tropical Beekeepers Association, a local beekeeping club located in Homestead, Florida. Come one, come all and gain insight on how local farmers produce the wonderful Florida commodities that we use in recipes every day!
